What kind of jeans looks best on a man?

Just curious, what is most attractive in a woman's eyes

Straight cut (normal)
Slim fit
Tapered
Skinny fit

i was sat in wetherspoons earlier and took note of men's jeans .. most of them wore horrible fitting baggy around the rear jeans.

Do women notice this kind of thing going on?

It depends entirely on both his body shape, height and wherher he has long legs or a long torso. But generally any jeans will look good if they are a good cut and fit properly, everyone will look crap in a pair of george jeans for example due to the poor cut.

Skinny jeans generally look awful on men - even very fit men. I like straight leg, fitted properly at the waist.

I agree. There's a guy at work who clearly goes to the gym, plays football but skinny jeans just cling to him. I like a good pair of straight leg Levi's. Not too short

Slim fit but NOT skinny/tight. Straight leg are often quite shapeless.

I HATE skinny jeans on men! I honestly couldn’t date somebody who wore them as it’s so off putting. Slim jeans are fine if they have reasonably skinny legs, if they have chunky legs then straight cut.

As long as they're not deluding themselves by squeezing into a pair that are 5 sizes too small like the man I saw in Maccies the other day I don't really notice.

What about carrot fit?Slightly looser around the thigh but comes in at the ankle.Ive a thing about my jeans sitting on top of my trainers😂

I ask because I've been going to the gym for 8 months and my legs are thicker..

My slim jeans are all tight and now feeling more like "skinny fit" now.

I need to get new jeans and I'm wondering if straight fit jeans will act like slim fitting for my legs. I like them to follow the contour of my legs rightly but not skinny.

It doesn't matter as long as they fit properly. Definitely no baggy bottoms.

Mostly if you have a good figure and height all clothes look good.

Those guys in Weatherspoons likely do not have those attributes and therefore their jeans look shit.

Nothing too blue. I prefer a stonewashed worn look or proper black ones. Agree a straight classic style suits most men. Skinny jeans on men are just too Love Island for me (although I like them on women) and I hate the ones that skim above the ankles and then they wear no socks!

My XP used to wear saggy baggy shapeless jeans - although he had no bum to speak of, so who knows, maybe even slimmer fitting ones would have hung off his bum!? But I fancied the pants off him so I didn’t care that his jeans weren’t the right shape or that his body wasn’t perfect. Hopefully he felt that same about me, that even though I was too far for skinny jeans, I wore them anyway!

Slim or straight and good shoes! Shoes make the outfit for me,a man should not wear trainer trainers (eg gym ones) unless he's in gym gear (same goes for women in my opinion).

As for colour I like grey on a man, but it doesn't really matter as long as they fit.

Straight cut jeans on a slim man. Definitely not skinny.

The problems seem to start when a man has a beer gut, which means they need a larger size to fit round their waist and are therefore baggy-round-the-arse.

Maybe sitting in a pub, you saw a higher than average proportion of beer drinkers. Sit in the reception area of a gym and see if the same applies 🙂

Agree with straight cut jeans, look for stonewashed, grey/blue. Nothing too bright blue and indigo is 'out' fashion wise if you're bothered by that atm.

Slim fit, mid blue stonewashed - not indigo or stone. Definitely not skinny, and not ripped or twisted or whatever.

My DH has thick legs due to being athletic, he looks great in dark blue Ben Sherman or Armani jeans.

why don’t you go to TK Maxx where they have lots of different designs and styles and you can try different ones on and see what suits you.

I would definitely stay away from skinny jeans if you have thick legs, you’ll end up looking like Max Wall 🤦‍♀️😂
