Anyone else just really lonely?

I’m 29, married and have a one year old.

I just feel proper lonely to be honest. I don’t really keep in touch with my friends much as I feel like we’re at really different places in our lives. I have my husband and parents but I’m an only child too.

I have extended family members and grandparents etc but I also can’t help but feel like I’m a bit of an outsider to everyone as well.

Sorry you feel lonely. Once your one year old starts school (which I know seems ages away but really isn't) you will find you make friends amongst the other parents if you are open to it - help at the school fairs when you can, join in wherever you can - sounds tedious I know, but you will make friends.

Where abouts do you live? I'm in Manchester. I'm a little like you, I go to baby groups if you ever fancied it :-)
