Will I regret moving to a bigger home?

I’ve made an offer on a house that’s a 3/4 bed, large drive, front and back gardens and in a countryside area. The driving point for this was 1. Near family 2. Working from
home a lot so no need to be near the city 3. Wanted more space as two bedroom terrace with no hallway is a bit of a faff with baby and 4. I wanted to move up the property ladder while I can, and this house is around double in price. I was gifted 50k to make the move and been told I can keep it if I stay where I am which is tempting…but will just end up frittering away rather than fixing it in a new home.

I am now massively panicking about leaving my home! It’s so small though and with a baby on the way I will probably find it hard with little space or so everyone says?!

I sort of feel like I will miss being on the cusp of a city but I never actually go into the city… at all. So it’s perhaps psychological!

Worried I’m making a mistake!
