So, as the title says, the guy I like never touches me, and I thought maybe he just wasn't that type of person, but I've noticed he does so with everyone else. Other women in our friend group, and even some of his guy friends, he'll touch their shoulder to get their attention, their knees will touch, he'll put his hand on their arm, but he's never done that with me.
At one point, when we were in the kitchen together, he was closing the bottom cupboard and he very flustered said "sorry, didn't mean to stroke your leg" and I was confused I asked what he meant and he said he stroked my leg when closing the cupboard and he didn't mean to. One, I had never felt it so it must have been very lightly and two, the fact he felt he had to apologise over it when it was quite clearly unintentional made me wonder why he felt defensive.
Previously, I thought maybe he could like me too, but I can't seem to understand why he doesn't extend himself to me the way he does with others.
