The person you found as a single mum - any happy endings out there?

I’m not at the dating stage at all but in my mid thirties single with one year old
DC. I live in a small town and don’t really go out much other than to work and I’ve dabbled with online dating. I feel like this is it for me and I’m so miserable.

Any happy endings out there? How did it happen? Very low today.

Hi Op, I'm a solo mum by choice (so used a sperm donor to conceive), and am watching with interest.

I'm late to motherhood, but it was either remaining single and childless or single and with a child. I'm not overly enthusiastic about dating as I remember very acutely that it was hard/despairing/depressing when I was childless/had loads of free time etc.

Do you have any family nearby who can offer to babysit?

We can meet partners at any stage of our life, and technically anywhere!

What sort of relationship are you looking for??

Happy Ending here. Was a single mum, met a lovely single Dad and dated very slowly & cautiously. Two decades later and we’re still happily married. It can happen so don’t give up!
