Hand held my ex partner is being arrested

My ex partner was arrested in February for stalking and harassment, he is yet to be charged. After his bail we ended up in contact again (due to a massive manipulation from him) and I have called things off as abuse started again. He is being arrested again Tuesday evening and I feel sick. He has harassed and stalked me again and once he's blocked it gets worse. I do not want this man back and I am done for good. The investigating officer has said she will throw everything at him until something sticks. I don't understand the court process at all, but I am contacting victims support for assistance. I just want a hand hold and some advice from anyone who's been through this really. Thank you

Not been in your situation so I have no advice but giving a hand hold.

Deep breaths and stick to it this time.

Keep reminding yourself how awful it gets when he doesn't get his own way and having contact again then creates the vicious circle.

For your own sanity stay strong

Victim Support should help you and you can always call Women’s Aid. You know the only safe future for you is for no contact ever and then any action on his part will bring in the police.
You’ve done the right thing, make sure you’re safe until tomorrow evening, keep any texts etc.. as evidence.
Do you have family or friends you can stay with for a couple of days?

Thanks for your kind messages, he was arrested last night in the end and bailed with conditions not to contact me or to drive to where I live. He immediately afterwards has been posting online, comparing himself to Jonny depp and saying the truth will come out soon. My friend is keeping an eye on his actions to keep me safe. He showed up where I was yesterday before he was arrested which was reported too. Hopefully the stalking stops now. I'm in contact with victim support.
