I have partner I have been with for 7 years we have lived together with my two children for 4 years. He suffered from depression throughout the years but recently it has escalated he has become upset about my career progress I earn more money than him, he lives in my house and says he feels like a bum and he drives my car and says he feels like he is tagging along for the ride, he doesn’t have friends because he moved to the r town I live in and stopped seeing his friends - I don’t care how much money he earns as long as he is a decent person and I try to encourage him to meet his friends and family but he doesn’t listen to me and is soo unhappy

should I let him go to find his own way?

Yes let him go. Not about the money bit. The him banging on about it would piss me off.
Is he as hard working as you and is he decent or honest?
Only you can decide that OP.

Any man who begrudges and is jealous of the success of their partner needs to be shown the door. Get rid of this miserable cocklodger.
