Worried

I spent a day with my DDs yesterday and the older one's boyfriend. I've always found him a lovely guy, and he seems to treat my daughter well.
My daughter and I have a "tense" relationship. And the slightest thing I say can set off a whole train of her spiralling about what an awful parent I am.

Anyhow her boyfriend came up with a few worrying remarks for me. He said some things like "kill the Landlords" which I know is quoting Mao. But far more concerning was him saying he'd like to "kill just one of every species".

Now am I over reacting or is this a massive red flag?
And any advice on what I do now?

Yeah that's really worrying
I thought you were going to say like 13
He's either just extremely immature or actually very troubled

Yes thats an extremely odd thing to say. And very worrying. What does your daughter think?

BlueSuffragette · 15/07/2022 13:12
