So my friend has been seeing her DP for almost three years. He lives abroad but he is over here with a view to staying here permanently. She has told me everything about him, confided in me and the relationship has been v difficult at times.
I have known her over 10 yrs, but it seems as if she doesn't want me to ever see him. I have met him twice in 3 years. She lives half a mile down the road and even though he has been here for over 2 months she wants to keep us separate. She lets another close friend meet him spend time with him. I have never met her either. I have suggested meeting but she has ignored it or cancelled in the past.
Think she likes to keep things separate.
Should just see her as a friend but I feel a little used as if she wants to slag him off to me which she has done an awful lot of.
But doesn't want to do anything fun which involves her her DP and perhaps my Dp.
Have suggested walks, meet ups etc.
