How did you feel when your youngest left home

DS is leaving home in a couple of weeks.
I suspected it was on the cards and I want him to move onwards and become more independent.
He is great company and never caused us any issues.
I even have a very busy life myself .
I feel sad at the loss which wasn't as bad when dd left home as she was v young and I thought she may come back.
Anyone else feel emotional about their youngest moving out.?

Absolutely! Still miss them but it gets easier and I comfort myself in the fact that my boys are enjoying their lives, relishing their independence and making their way in the world.
