A few of us got together and even though most people struggle themselves on this estate, we did a barbecue and put some flags, bunting and tables out to welcome some of the Ukrainian that have arrived here.
I got stuck in and being a single mum of 2, I thought it would good to show the kids importance of helping others.
Even kids know what's going on over their it's all over the news awful stuff. On our line of houses we put flags in our windows to show our solidarity with them.
I caught the eye of this super fittie Ukrainian guy who was helping out. He was doing the translation and letting his people know what was in the food and advice on how things work here
We got chatting and I definitely sensed something and want to invite him over and get to know him. He just got my heart fluttering making me blush. (Looks like Mulder from x files but better)
My bestie sensed it and said "go for it girl !"
I could feel my face going all red.
I had a tough breakup and friends family say it's time to look forward. What are Ukrainian men like ? I'm pretty sure he's single.
