How long does a divorce usually take?

This website says at least 6 months www.citizensadvice.org.uk/family/how-to-separate1/getting-a-divorce-or-dissolution

My ex and I separated at Christmas, divorce was finalised end of June, but that was years ago and I was quick off the mark with a solicitor. He didn’t contest anything and we came to a financial arrangement for the kids amicably though it went through the court to make it official.

Nearly 3 years in Sept feels like an eternity.

I started the process mid-April should be complete by Christmas under the new rulings that came into effect from April 4th this year.

Unfortunately I'm not in the UK.

How long did it take for them to contact you please. I did gov.uk online 7th April and heard nothing xx

I applied mid June online, got my proper acknowledgment on 5th July now the clock is ticking till November when I can apply for the final order.

If you applied in April and haven't heard anything at all perhaps it's got lost? I get email acknowledgments throughout the process so far
