Friend's boyfriend joined dating groups

Earlier I was searching facebook for singles groups. I noticed my friend's fiance joined one yesterday and he joined another one a few weeks ago. They have been dating for 9 months. He and she both don't work, he is not incapacitated he just doesn't want to work.

I really don't want to tell her as the last one cheated on her and I told her years ago about her boyfriend at the time being on a dating site as he and I were matched my eharmony so I could not avoid it. The thing is she will stand by the fiance no matter what. He also has adult 'stars' as Facebook friends.

I'm not keen on him as he has a short fuse but she is needy and this will devastate her.

You really should tell her. It will be far worse if she marries him and then finds out he's still keeping his options open. I suspect worse for you too: you'll feel guilty you didn't say anything when there was still time.

Bit different if she and he have agreed to an open or poly relationship, but it doesn't sound as if that's the case.

He sounds a complete waste of space and the sooner she realises that the better. Staying with him will never build her strength or confidence.

As much as it'll probably come back to bite you on the arse...I don't think you can just not tell her. Shes your friend and we'll, it's a friend duty to say isn't it? Don't envy you the task though.

Not really sure why the not working is relevant. So long as they can afford it, who give a toss, it's their lives.
