Is this enough money as singe parent?

Not in this position yet but might be. Worrying a bit. I’m excluding maintenance for now but think it could be around 680.

After mortgage and council tax I would have 1,200. I would have to pay childcare for 3 days a week from this too.

I haven’t looked in to what childcare would cost and I am panicking a bit.

How old are your kids? For childcare there is help from age 2 for people on low incomes and from age 3 there are some free hours for everybody.

I’m in a similar situation, it will be tight.

You will never have enough money as a single parent. I'm not going to lie, sometimes it's horrible.

Don't let it stop you getting out of a bad situation.

What's your situation? Are you eligible for universal credit or will you be using tax free childcare? Age of your children? Hope you are ok

That’s the same as I get with 2 kids full time. I do work full time though and after rent and council tax I still have over 1500 in my account. It is scary and I am far more aware
