How to let go of someone

DSis was my best friend. We did everything together.
Then a few years back, almost overnight she changed. She’s no longer someone I recognise. Not someone I trust. She has become so selfish and has shunned her family (including her kids) for some new friends and a new partner. Our kids are still friends but me and DS no longer have contact.

How do I let go of this? How do I get over the fact she has changed in to someone I don’t know or even really like anymore. I miss her but I miss who she was.

People don't change. Your old sister will still be there somewhere deep inside herself. Midlife crisis? You are right to feel disappointed and hurt. Be there for her kids and crack on with your own life 💐
