Best dating sites?

Not having much luck.

Over the past 9 months I've been on a few. I don't want to spend a fortune on a long term subscription. For instance I ended up paying for match for 6 months and the men were just the same guys with not many new ones.

Plenty of fish: Found rubbish with too many dickheads.

Bumble: Again not many men nearby and women hate massaging first.

Hinge: Nice men but can only like a few per day unless I pay a large fee. Not had many likes so far, I assume because people use up their daily likes quickly.

Fb dating: the app is no longer appearing on my phone for some reason.

Any suggestions? Thank you 😊

Tbh I always thought Tinder was more for hook ups/,casual rather than proper relationships?

Tbh tinder has always worked best for Mr too. More 'normal' people on it. It's not a hookup site anymore. Anyone that's looking looking just that usually tells you straight off the bat anyway.

I think it’s just about weeding out the ones that are after just that, if you are honest on your profile then that will help, people do meet their partners even husbands/wives on tinder so it’s not just hook ups

Last couple of guys I've spent time with were found on Tinder ... It had the reputation of a hook up site, but same as any site really 🙂

I thought tinder was free. Seems to see who's liked you and potential matches you have to pay

Unless you match with them too, aren’t most apps like that unless you pay for premium?

Tinder is free, its just that people who like your profile will only show once you like theirs too. Just get swiping basically and you'll get matches when they get around to swiping you.

You can pay for premium to see everyone who has liked your profile before you've even swiped them. But no need.

It's luck, timing and coincidence and since nobody can predict nor guarantee that you will meet someone on any of the sites, it's impossible to say which site is the "best". Dating app algorithms are designed to keep people hooked on the site for as long as possible. If everyone met their soulmate within the first swipe, the dating apps wouldn't be making any money.

I'm still amazed I found my current chap on pof. I think all dating sites have their idiots, so it doesn't matter what you use, the key is to filter them out effectively and stick to what you want.

I think they are all pretty much the same, as others have said ‘most people on the paid ones are also on Tinder and POF’ so it’s the same faces wherever you go. I have been using online dating for years, used to go on load of dates, made several friends but not met the one, now the apps seem dead, same old faces and the same ‘hi sexy’ messages from weirdos.
