Technical help

How do I tell if my home or car or computing equipment is bugged? I am asking as I have a suspicion my ex is doing this. He has been extremely controlling in our relationship and today told me something that I have only mentioned to one person using almost word for word what I said. It’s possible this person went to him but when I asked her she denied it and looked totally surprised. This is the only other option. I was in my car on the phone when I was talking to her. Any advice gratefully received.

Take the car to a garage, and the phone to a tech shop, ask both to check them thoroughly and if they find anything notify the police.

ThanksSophSoSo. I’ve had a bit of a search and I think iPhones are difficult to install anything on and there is nothing I recognise in way of odd apps. I will have another good search of my car. I spent a few hours looking at what such devices look like so will see myself if I can find anything. I suspect I am just being paranoid and need to find a more trustworthy friend!

Download an antivirus for your phone and it wouls detect any surveillance app.

Good luck
