I've been meaning to mention this for ages, but anyway.

DS is 17 months, so obviously, I've healed! I did have some internal stitches, dunno how many, didn't want to know anything about the carnage and was under the impression it wasn't that bad.

However, whilst DP thinks that sex feels the same, I feel slightly...would baggier be the right word? Or not as sensitive, or something.

Is this par for the course and what you get for heaving massive children out of there, or should I really have got this checked out before now? I'm presuming it's a bit naive to expect your nethers to spring back to lovely pre-stretched proportions?

And now I'm pregnant again, can I expect #2 to mangle me beyond repair?

Ya see, that's the thing, I wouldn't mind but my pelvic floor was the only muscle I had that was in any sort of shape!

I think that's pretty normal tbh. I had internal stitches too.

It does feel different. Maybe not quite as good. But like everything post-baby - just different

FrannyandZooey · 10/01/2008 15:00

does it just change randomly again after no 2, can I ask? I mean I know it is not likely to get, erm, less slack, but can the erm, untidy bits end up less of a mess, if they do a better job this time?

They stitched me up wrong after a tear with my first. It looks very odd now indeed, but I can't remember what it felt like pre-baby, and it feels quite..erm..satisfactory now.
