Just been reading an article on a popular lifestyle website - it was called "13 Types Of Guys Who Stay Single And Don't Ever Find Lasting Love", but reading it I figured the "types" could apply to either gender. One in particular stood out:
You’re-So-Nice-As-A-Friend
"Some people, regardless of looks or personality, just don’t seem to have the right “zazz” to be considered attractive by others. [They] might have an "uncle face", put off the wrong vibes, or just have some kind of mismatch in hormones. Sadly, there’s not much people in this situation can do, aside from continuing their search, trying to improve themselves more, or giving up."
This struck me as horrible bleak - but then who says life is fair? Do you think there's some truth that some people just lack something that sparks attraction?
n.b. Not talking "Nice Guy" syndrome here, because this is irrespective of whether someone's trying to be nice or not and it isn't suggesting "niceness" should (or shouldn't) be attractive.
