Making move on younger guy?

Early 40s female, separated and on way to divorce. Suddenly got my sex drive back with help of HRT and getting out of dead bedroom marriage.
Met a really lovely younger guy at a work event whom I deal with often. Felt that I really clicked with him and now fantastising about getting close with him…
i sent him an email on a work matter saying how nice it was to meet him. He said like use. I then sent a casual email referring to the theme of the work event and wishing him a good evening - he replied back within minutes…
how do I ascertain his level (if any) of interest beyond being polite and friendly? He may have a girlfriend too.
am not necessarily interested in a relationship, just some fun.
this guy is at least 10-15 years younger than me…
am I hormones going crazy?

Life is too short! Just ask him our for a drink?

notthisagain67 · 27/04/2022 21:07

@TheVolturi - I cant do that as I have to work alongside him occasionally (he is a client). Thinking of inviting him for a coffee over a work thing

OP, I think you can so do that if you only work alongside him occasionally. If not, I'm really not sure what you are asking. And having a drink is not a crime.

I would avoid the work coffee thing and go for a light hearted drink after work and find out what the situation is. Congrats on your returning sex drive, and a younger person can be good to share it with and a great confidence booster. Good luck. x
