Can you describe your girlfriend? It may help.

Justcallmebebes · 22/04/2022 10:18

A trip to Paris?

What's your budget? What are her interests/hobbies?

WhoppingBigBackside · 22/04/2022 10:28

How long have you been together? What is your budget?

kittensinthekitchen · 22/04/2022 10:29

A blender?

Justkeeppedaling · 22/04/2022 10:35

IMO you can't go wrong with earrings and socks.
HTH.

SilverPeacock · 22/04/2022 10:40

I would stay away from jewellery. Dh rarely gets this right even after 25 years and now I don’t know how to tell him!

I wish people would realise that these posts are utterly pointless without any context.

I didn't have a boyfriend when I was 23 but for my 25th birthday (I think...), I received a set of Universal Classic Monsters 14" figures - Wolf Man, Dracula and Frankenstein's monster amongst other things.

Would she be interested in something like that do you think?

FayCarew · 22/04/2022 10:42

Chocolates and a bunch of flowers.

Something useful for the kitchen

Same as you got your nan for Christmas

Sexy lingerie preferably in red

AlisonDonut · 22/04/2022 10:46

If you are at a stage to get her a present then are you not at a stage to ask her what she might like?

AchillesPoirot · 22/04/2022 11:13

A Porsche?

FrydayFish · 22/04/2022 12:44

a baby?

JanuarySales · 22/04/2022 12:48

Depends on budget. But what about a hamper of all of her favourite things like chocolate, her fave bottle of wine, makeup you know she wears, bath bubbles, face masks, fluffy socks, a book etc.

Unless she’s specifically asked for something, ‘little bits’ she loves shows you take notice of her interests and shows thought and effort too.

FawnDrenched · 22/04/2022 13:24

A set of screwdrivers or cordless drill?

Pinkbonbon · 22/04/2022 13:26

...with no context?

Presumably your partner has other qualities besides just being a woman?

Maybe you could tell us about her hobbies, ambitions, what she does in her spare time, for a living?

Otherwise, how would we know where to begin on what to suggest?

galacticpixels · 22/04/2022 13:30

You need to think about what she specifically likes.

My boyfriend doesn't buy me jewelry or perfume as I'm not really into them - he buys me things like books, video games, prints, concert tickets.

😂 Oh once bought me a cordless screwdriver for Xmas, I was pretty annoyed until I realised how handy it was 😂
AnyCakeButBattenburg · 22/04/2022 13:35

Some tartan slippers with a zip up the front, and a pair of knitted gloves.

FayCarew · 22/04/2022 15:19

A bottle of scent tha smelled nice on a previous girlfriend/your mum

ShandaLear · 22/04/2022 15:25

An apron.

ShandaLear · 22/04/2022 15:26

Anal beads.

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/04/2022 15:29

DH made me a homemade Batman card.

Which does rather imply knowing your audience is key.

layladomino · 22/04/2022 15:30

Why would you think us random strangers would know your gf better than you know her!???

Aprilx · 22/04/2022 15:30

Lego Harry Potter set.

Unforgettablefire · 22/04/2022 15:33

ShandaLear · 22/04/2022 15:26

My dad bought me an electric cordless screwdriver and an electric sander for Christmas when I was in my 20s. For my birthday, he made me up a toolbox.

Amongst the best presents I've ever received! And, 20 years on, still the ones I use the most.
