Is old that bad?

Is anyone else too scared to date because of all the bad things they read?! Is old really that awful? Any positive experiences? 😬

I found it fun! Most ended in disaster, but I loved getting out there and meeting new people

I met my husband that way. As a woman putting yourself out there to men you will be bombarded with messages and some will be weird. But you will also potentially meet some really nice people if you're willing to open up to it.

It's a case of wading through the debris 😂. There are a minority of decent men on there but you'll also find the block button useful.

Remember they are just random strangers in the internet, you don't owe them anything. First sign of bad behaviour- block.

All I’ve heard is so many horror stories, how awful the men are etc never hear anything positive! I was thinking of tinder as I assume that’s the most popular one?

I met my husband on tinder, best swipe I ever made.

I met my boyfriend on Bumble. It was fine for me - no dick pics, no inappropriate messages (well not until we had met in person haha) and no knobheads. I have also heard horror stories though so I'm guessing my profile isn't one that would have attracted the wrong sort of pervert

Not that bad at all in my experience. I met dp that way. He was the second person I chatted to. The first guy was really nice, interesting to chat to etc but no sexual attraction. Over all a good experience but I was absolutely mercenary at immediately blocking anyone who indicated even a hint of red flag behaviour.

I had the same experience as CthulhulinDisguise!

It did feel tedious and discouraging at times, but I didn't have any truly awful experiences and met my lovely boyfriend through it.

There are a lot of men with a lot of emotional baggage on there, but if you are ruthless enough and stick to what you are looking for, you might find a good one.
