A bit of praise for my DH .........

..... as DH's sometimes get a bit of a battering on here, mine included .

Went to visit some friends Sat night - they are in their late 30s, no children, and are trying to decide whether to bother having any. They wanted our views as to the pros and cons of being parents. Now all the cons immediately sprang to my mind - lack of sleep, constant mess/noise, lack of money etc etc. But I had big trouble putting into words how lovely my DDs are.

DH summed it up beautifully - "They make me feel whole, complete - as if we are part of a circle and if it was just the two of us the circle would be incomplete". Isn't that lovely, or am I just premenstrual?

no, just lovely. Not sure my DH would have it put it quite so eloquently but I know he feels the same. He describes himself as a 'parent convert' since DS.
