I work part time in a managerial position and have been getting to know a chef I work with over the last few months. I like him and yesterday he said he would like my number but I'm unsure if it's ok to pursue it. He's single and so am I but I don't know wether it's 1 allowed and 2 whether it will make things awkward

I met my now DH at work. He wasn’t my direct line manager, but he was very senior to me. It was a 5 minute wonder of people gossiping (and lots saying it wouldn’t last). We’ve been together 17 years, married for 12 and still very happy. Best years of my life and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world….

Have you ever seen him not in his chef clothes?

I dated a colleague when I was younger and his department had to wear a uniform.
He looked nice in his work clothes- outside of work he used to wear vests instead of t-shirts.
Be warned.

Perhaps he is looking for a new job? Chefs are in great demand at the moment.
