Me or friend?

I just want to know if I'm being unreasonable.
I have a friend who is rarely there for me yet expects me to sit and listen to her woes, and drones on and on about herself even repeating the same old stories.
She's on occasion ignored me for months and then blamed me for it.

Recently I've been through a bad time, I had a late miscarriage and she has barely asked how I am yet keeps going on and on about her own troubles. She wants to come over but Friday was my child's funeral and I didn't hear a peep out of her.

AIBU to ingore this friendship as I feel like she's only out for her own needs/gain? Angry or am I being over emotional?

I'm so sorry Flowers

She's not really a friend, is she?

OP I'm very sorry for your loss, you must be feeling so vulnerable at the moment.

Can you just tell her you're not really up to it now, and deal with her later one way or the other when you're feeling a bit stronger? She's being at best horribly insensitive.
Take care of yourself. Flowers

So sorry for your loss. You don't need people like that in your life. Friendships are a two way street and equal.
