How do you deal with emotional abuse? He hasn’t spoken to me for 3 days solid not a word. It’s all my fault and I’m mean and cruel yet be won’t tell me why or what I’ve done. No row or any reason for it. He makes it up and always says I’ve done things I haven’t. The things he does are blanked he says I’m making it up.
I can’t leave I have nowhere to go and no money. No family or friends.
He’s always playing mind games he’s so cruel. I hate him.

You need to make a plan to leave.
Overtime this will destroy you and take years of recovery.

People leave with the circumstances you describe.

Get advice from refuge help line (aka National Domestic Abuse helpline.

Do you have children? Do you have a job? You clearly need to make a plan to leave.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. You don’t deserve this. Please speak to refuge/women’s aid. They can help you make a plan to leave. There are refuge spaces, or even your local council if you turn up with bags packed and are fleeing dv, they will find you a room in a hostel or hotel. Trains now offer free tickets to people fleeing dv. Refuges can provide some basic foods and toiletries possibly clothes until benefits are sorted. Women’s aid can help you apply for benefits like universal credit. Gather all your documents passport drivers license proof of tenancy etc etc. And keep them in a hidden location by the door. Please be safe. Do you have children?
