Single sex services

If you needed a refuge or other support because of domestic abuse, would you prefer to use services staffed by women and only open to women?

How would you feel if fleeing from a male partner’s violence you had to be with a trans identifying man, either as staff or fellow user of services?

Why are you asking this?

Maybe you should flesh out your post a lot more. Without this, people will be wondering if you are a -

• academic researcher
• journalist (Daily Mail?)
• someone who works at a women's shelter trying to get opinions on this
• a trans activist (a bit unlikely on the relationships board though)
