Intense lesbian relationships?

Are all lesbian relationships so emotionally intense?
This is all new for me and whilst elements of it I really love, the connection and the intimacy for instance - the intense feelings that come along with it seem so far from any relationship I’ve had with a man?
I have nobody to talk to in RL so grateful for any opinions Smile

I’ve not been in one but my ex vest friend is a lesbian (after being heterosexual) and she did say they were intense. Not sure if it’s due to hormones etc. But I think things have settled down with her as she’s now with a lovely woman and engaged and seems much calmer.

My sister is a lesbian and she said there is a stereotype that lesbian relationships move VERY fast - eg meet, move in, get married - all within a short space of time

The joke goes; what does a lesbian bring on a first date? a moving van.

Things do often move quickly in lesbian relationships. It's something my wife and I have spoken about a lot and we think it's because women are often more open and honest with how they feel! Obviously it's different for every couple, but we have no regrets about our quick starting relationship.
