I am worried about my 27 year old daughter in Canada. She has left her short term boyfriend for the second time and he is taking it extremely badly. He caused so much noisy drunken trouble outside the flat last night that she felt pressured to let him in but then had to call the police when he started breaking things and they carted him off. She is in Toronto. I don't know where to start over accessing help for her over there as I am in a different continent. Hoping someone from there might have some advice? The police have released him but he is back to trying to contact her again and she is staying with friends to avoid him even knowing where she is. She does not want to block him as this seems to escalate his behaviour. The police are not being helpful to her and are dismissive.
