I am toying with trying OLD. I have been on my own for a few years now, busy with work and family, and feel I need to make changes
I'm not looking for marriage or even living together. I wouldn't rule our cohabiting in the distant future but not for a long time
Can anyone recommend which OLD site to try. I feel a paid one might be best

The mainstream sites like Bumble, OKCupid, Tinder etc all have large memberships which increase the chances of meeting somebody, whereas the specialist ones tend to be slim pickings unless you’re in London or another very large city.

Virtually everyone you’d find on a paid site will also be using the free sites as well, you just need to be ruthless and efficient at churning through the chaff to find the wheat. I don’t think paid sites have any better “quality” of user than free ones; just because somebody wants a relationship badly enough that they’re willing to pay for a site doesn’t make them a better candidate for a relationship, if you see what I mean. I’d imagine many people who are paying customers think they’re entitled to a better experience, though, and that isn’t a particularly attractive attitude for a man to have when dating.

Thanks. That makes sense
