I've been on paid and free dating apps. To be honest it's the same guys on both! I think most men and perhaps women sign up to all of them for maximum exposure so to speak.

I thought I'd get more serious matches on the paid sites, free ones typically have a reputation for people just wanting to get their leg over. The harsh truth is it's exactly the same on paid sites.

I've had dates on both but not met anyone yet I can say I wanted to see again. Maybe I'm just too fussy in my old age.

The Facebook dating is quite good . I've had some decent dates from there .

In my experience Plenty of Fish is one where you get free, unlimited messaging and therefore meets. BUT be warned, it might be a case of you get what you (don’t) pay for as there seem to be a lot of married men and undesirables on there!
