So I've been messaging a man who is slow to return messages and I can't tell if he is very laid back/not too keen or just quite shy. We met for a drink last night and both drove home and swapped a couple of messages to say we had both got back safely due to the storm. He was driving today to stay with a friend but he hasn't messaged me. I've not been on the dating scene for years and have no idea what happens next but I don't like playing games. Do I just assume he has ghosted me or message to thank him for the drink and move on. I'm not that bothered either way but hate waiting around!

I’d leave it. I’ve dealt with all manner of nonsense through OLDing, and if a man likes you, he’ll let you know. You’ve exchanged messages after the date, and so leave it.

No just leave it. If he likes you, he will let you know.

Oh jinx with Milo!

If you don't like waiting around and you feel like you're waiting around, ditch him. Ditch anyone who doesn't make you feel like grinning when you think of them.

Posted a v similar post earlier! It’s hard isn’t it! Laid back (ie not needy) is good but you need to feel like you matter?!
I’d leave it as I’ve learnt chasing usually ends up with them getting used to it..I hope he messages soon!

I would carry on contacting other people and hopefully he will get in touch next week.
