Adult narcissist child - can anyone point me at some books or resources that might help me post

NC for this one.

Their dad was a Narcissist.

My relationship with them has always been a bit walking on eggshells trying not to upset them - though socially they can be great fun.

Just recently they have been behaving in ways that I suddenly - lightbulb moment! - recognise from my marriage.

Can any of you wise people recommend any books or resources that address dealing with an adult Narcissist child, please? I don't want to cut them off from my life, but I am not prepared to accept the toxicity, disrespect and manipulation that we are currently seeing.

I've done most of the "what is a narcissist" books and now need something more specialist about managing a relationship with a much-loved adult child.

Please - no posts about amateur psychologists, how do I know this is Narcissism, etc. I just want reading recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

I can't recommend any literature but wonder if you could find something on YouTube?

Some good videos on YouTube.
My brother is a narcissist. It has been horrendous so really feel for you.

My xh is definitely a narcissist. Do you mind me to ask how you knew that your brother was a narcissist? Is there anything you wish youd done differently?

The best book I have come across is
How to kill a narcissist

Obviously it does not expect you to take the title literally

Sorry for your problems Flowers

Try DoctorRamani on YouTube.

She discusses situations like yours, when you need / wish to have an ongoing relationship.
