Anyone else feeling a bit low with it being Valentine’s Day

Woke up this morning and had a bit of a wobble, first Valentine’s Day without my ex . Not that he used to make much effort but still feels strange .

Yep, another online dating rejection today. I haven't had a Valentine's Day card for over 20 years. I think I'll focus on the cheap chocolate tomorrow too

@Californiansunsets that's rough. My Exh has a new girlfriend and he took her away for the weekend. He never did that with me in 13 years of marriage plus the 2 years when we were dating. He said it 'wasn't him'. Ah well.

Tough day here too. Dh and I are seperated but he was over tonight to see the kids. I cooked, like I always did.

I still love him deeply. I'm missing the life we should have had.

Yup, it is my 25th wedding anniversary today, except that we separated last April. I am not sad that we are not together anymore, I initiated separation, but I am thinking that I will never feel happy on Valentine's Day again even if I am in a happy relationship.

I literally woke up this morning thinking, how am I going to get through this day as quickly and painfully as possible?

I found it harder than I expected.
Separated a couple of years ago.
Cried walking the dog this morning and felt rubbish all day.
My friend phoned earlier (he's single) and we had a good moan to each other about how hard we were finding it today. Then I went to gym class and there was a couple there, working out together and I felt a bit jealous. I need to get a grip!!

the garden i went to last week with cross H was full of other cross couples,
i went with DM yesterday instead,
half term so cheerful with children
