Fitting in the box

I have been with my partner for almost 8 years we have 2 children together. But we have never lived together. We still do things that familys do. Days out. He's over often. The kids stay with him every other weekend. He also stays with us regularly.

I could just never imagine living with someone full-time. I just feel really content on my own. I do love him and like the time we spend together. But I just can't live with him . I just could not ever imagine living with anyone.

I know this is not the norm and I don't fit into that neat little box that society thinks I should. I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same

Sounds ideal to me! As long as you're both on the same page re sex with other people.

I would never live with someone else again.

Sounds amazing! Who cares what others think.
I don't think you get the best of someone when you cohabit. Don't change it if it suits you both.
I have no plans to ever live with a man again.

Yes definitely on the same page. We don't have sex with other people and we 100% trust each other.

Sounds ideal.
I’d love to be in your position.

In fact, I think your situation may well become the norm in the future. It would certainly prevent lots of people being stuck when they don’t want to be.

Agree with @GeneLovesJezebel. It's obviously working for you Smile
