3year old wants me all the time!! I'm exhausted

Can a toddler be too attached??

He only wants me to do most things, bedtime, bath time, at nursery cries and asks for me..

He hasn't been looked after by many other people other than me so I'm guessing that's why.. my DH works a lot and we don't have any hands on child support - he is only at nursery 2 mornings a week..

Even if he's with his daddy, he will ask for me.. or his Nan on occasion, asks for me..

Asks for me all morning at nursery..

Too attached??

I don’t know if it’s a symptom of the pandemic as I have exactly the same situation with my DS who has just turned 4, he’s been like this for over a year. I’m exhausted. He won’t sleep unless he’s touching me, he won’t play unless I am playing with him, if I cook he cries at me to play with him until I stop. He sobs at nursery drop off, refuses to go to Grannie’s, won’t let daddy near him. It’s awful. I am just hoping he grows out if, my eldest was a bit clingy at this age but nothing like this.
I’m sorry I don’t have any advice because I’m also at a loss on what to do. But sending solidarity.

I think it could be a symptom of the pandemic as well, my daughter is 2 and is getting more and more clingy to me by the day, she gets upset if I even leave to go to the bathroom! No advice here either unfortunately, I manage to get away got a few minute for a cuppa downstairs if I speak to her while she's upstairs, but I'd love to know the secret to getting her to sleep with someone other than me next to her.
