Morning After Pill

I had unprotected sex on Friday and Saturday, then took the morning after pill Sunday night - this was also all after my period had just finished on the Thursday! Is there a chance I may fall pregnant?! X

It's really very very very unlikely that you'd be pregnant so close to your period finishing, as you haven't ovulated yet and taken the morning after pill to prevent it. That's how I understand it anyway!
For future reference remember that the morning after pill is useless after you've ovulated - I only me think this because it's shockingly something I only learned recently!

Also worth noting that if you weigh over 70kg - should really purchase 2 of these emergency contraception

You can also buy them over the counter and leave in a drawer until you maybe have a condom split or break / or not used one at all

Not 100% guaranteed but sooner the better and less likely to get delayed with work / family etc

Also , a Coil fitted within 5 days is another method of emergency contraception

I very much doubt it unless you have a very short cycle.

Very unlikely if you had only just finished your period.

I have read many things about the morning after pill and the possibility of it only working at certain points of your cycle, the fact you are unlikely to be ovulating makes it very unlikely you would get pregnant.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I'm in the same position atm. Took the morning after pill towards the end of my period and now my next one is a week late. Did everything work out for you?

Hi, this is how i got pregnant, came off my period on the monday unprotected sex wednesday took the morning after pill friday and it failed. its unlikely but not impossible
