I posted this in pregnancy choices earlier today and no-one has responded

I am in an abusive marriage, I am pregnant again after having 3 DC back to back. I do not want a 4th pregnancy and I want to take the abortion pill as soon as possible. My husband is away this weekend and I want him to be out of the house when I take it, but all the services I am calling will not give me an appointment to "talk about it" until Monday next week.

I am based In London and prepared to pay for this privately. I have not missed a period yet but the clearblue pregnancy test has detected it already.

Please advise me how I can get this done as fast as possible. I am also currently suffering with covid so can only do online appointments

Call more than one clinic and call each morning for cancellations. If you've not past your due on date there is a chance it may not stick.

Have you tried calling the Well Woman Clinic

Suzi888 · 01/02/2022 19:57

Marie Stopes?

www.gynae-centre.co.uk/our-services/medical-abortion-pills-by-post/

If you call these they will have you speak to consultant same day and get them in the post same day.

They won't do one until they can see the sac anyway which is normally around 6 weeks.

trunktoes · 01/02/2022 20:13

Can you phone your GP?

trunktoes · 01/02/2022 20:15

I don't think it matters if your husband is in the house - it's like having a period - you can just tell him you are having a bad time if the month

AmbushedByCake1 · 01/02/2022 21:13

If you explain to the clinic then they should agree to see and treat you in the same day.

Try and get an implant or injection so you don't get pregnant again.

When you feel up to it you can calm women's aid for advice about your abusive marriage. Remember there is always advice and support here.

That's not true. I'm am currently waiting on my tablets for abortion and all they asked if I was sure on my dates etc and if all my tests have been positive.
