Husband masturbating

I’m not sure what to do. I’ve just found 8 pairs of socks and endless tissue all in my husbands beside drawer and under our bed. I know that we all masturbate but, my little boy was inches away from picking up daddies happy tissues. I literally feel sick to the stomach. Last time this happened was when I found out he was messaging other women. I honestly don’t know what to do as I can’t go through this again

Is the issue the masturbation or that you think he’s having an affair?

If it’s the former, an “oi, throw your issues in the bin you scruffy git” will do.

If it’s the latter you need to talk to him.

Wanking into his socks? Yuck!!!
MMmomDD · 31/01/2022 18:25

Look at his phone, or do whatever you need to do to put your mind at ease - or to figure out if anything is actually going on.

As to the actual masturbation - just leave it all on the bedside table for him and tell him he is old enough to clean up after himself.

Bushkin · 31/01/2022 18:27

Buy him a bin - sit it on his pillow/bedside table- tell him he’s not a teenager and you are not his mum

Potential cheating is a v separate issue

EvenMoreFuriousVexation · 31/01/2022 18:32

Leaving tissues lying around is just so lazy. Just flush them down the toilet you grim wanker.

You know before I started reading mumsnet I thought "wank sock" just meant a man using someone to get off without caring if their partner did. I had no idea men actually wanked into socks. Or cleaned up with socks. Whatever.

Take it he never puts a load of laundry on?

CrimbleCrumble1 · 31/01/2022 18:33

Buy him a bin and tell him to put all his messy tissues in their and his to wash his own spunky socks. Other than the mess I can’t see an issue with masturbation.

Hellopetty · 31/01/2022 18:33

Wanking=ok
Wanking into tissues/socks & leaving it. Absolutely minging

DillonPanthersTexas · 31/01/2022 18:41

Deathgrip, must be deathgrip.

Thought I would get that out the way.

Fridayfriyay · 31/01/2022 18:44

Buy a bin with a lid to go beside the bed. Tell him to make sure he puts his tissues in it in future. Don't look in his bedside drawers

Shunter350 · 31/01/2022 18:47

No issue with having some "me" time but discreetly and don't leave evidence.
I wonder if it's his way of dropping a hint.
It's unacceptable anyway.

WonderfulYou · 31/01/2022 19:19

Wanking = absolutely fine.

Leaving his days/weeks old wank socks and tissues = vile.

I’m not sure what the connection between him cheating is so I wouldn’t worry about that unless he’s been acting oddly.

This. If it's just wanking and leaving the evidence lying around, then a swift reminder not to be a grotbag should be fine.

If you think he's cheating, that's a separate issue: does he not normally masturbate and that's why you think it's a sign he's cheating?
