Reporting dating profile

Does anyone know what happens if you report a dating profile because they're married? It's my husband - nice - he's been reported. Will he be told?

So who has reported him?
And what's the concern about him being told?

Lovemusic33 · 31/01/2022 13:25

Pretty sure there are a lot of married men on dating apps, if they all got kicked off dating apps would go bust. I doubt they will remove him tbh.

Maybe you should consider getting a divorce if you husband is on online dating apps. No way would I be acting like nothing happened, I would be kicking him out.

Nothing will happen. He's not doing anything illegal.

Knowing your husband wants to fuck other women isn't a "lovely life" and yes, I have been where you are, exactly, where you are.

Onthefloor2 · 31/01/2022 14:19

If you like your life and don’t want to loose it, maybe an option is to open the marriage, so to the rest of the world it appears you are together, but your actually not. As long as everyone is discreet it should work.
Sti check too!

Nothing will happen. The moderators of the website won’t care if he’s married or not.

Isn’t that the least of your worries anyway? Or are you worried that he will become suspicious that you know?

Skeumorph · 31/01/2022 14:36

I don't think anything will happen. I know of one person who reported her husband, it moved quickly to her kicking him out but he was certainly still on it - his profile was there - several weeks later. Not that it mattered then.

He hasn't broken any actual rules or laws. And they must get malicious reports too so I don't think they care!

Plenty of married men on dating apps who advertise that they are married on their profile. Nothing will be done about it...

I find it so odd the amount of women who tolerate a shitty life with a shitty man just because its a "comfortable pair of slippers" so to speak! What's wrong with being on your own and having self respect ?

I've no idea but it certainly explains some smug middle-aged married men's attitudes.

@justasimplelife

You don’t have to change your life, if you don’t want to. Life isn’t black and white.
And brining it to surface by discussing an open marriage I think is much harder to do in practice for most people than just to ignore it.

I know a few people who live with knowledge of their partners’ occasional extra curriculums. They have kids, very nice lives, and otherwise good relationships.
I couldn’t live like that, but it works for them.
Keeping it undefined - keeps their prayers from letting those occasional involvements run out of control and destroy the balance.

As I said - not a popular choice. But it happens far more often than we would like to admit.

As to what would happen on the dating app. Nothing. As it’s not illegal.
