I'm feeling quite boring, after having kids i basically did nothing but care for them or work. Now I have some free time potentially, I don't even know where to begin?

Mid thirties, willing to try anything once, hit me with ideas please!

Walking, but It took many years. Quite a few friends met through conservation work.
Anything you enjoy will make you feel more interesting.

I met my DH at fencing club

ThisIsStartingToBoreMe · 28/01/2022 21:45

cycling and motorbike clubs are the usual ones.

Natty13 · 28/01/2022 22:49

Running club. I met 2 long term exes in rinjing clubs (still on good terms with both actually). A friend from the other side of the world overstayed her 2 year visa and marrying a man she met at her running club. Runners are nice - I have ran as a v unfit 20 year old, a chubby new mum, a burnt out single mum without any time to commit and at my fittest a marathoner. No matter what I've felt welcomed and encouraged so I always would recommend runners groups for mental, physical and social health.

I think its important to consider the type of person you're looking for and think about the hobbies they may have. Then choose ones from that list that appeal to you
