Help me get through the next 7 weeks

Hi all,

My partner and I have recently split, he’s moving out and I’m staying in the house.

The only problem is, he doesn’t get his keys until the third week of March.

He’s so up and down, one minute he’s ok and the next he’s being really nasty or aggressive.
I get out of the house as much as possible but it’s really bringing me down and I feel utterly stuck.

He can’t move in with friends or family so that isn’t a possibility. Can anyone help me on getting through the next (almost) 2 months?

I feel like I’m going to fall apart most days, I cry almost every day, and I get so angry sometimes I want to scream.

It hasn’t been the easiest relationship and I just want it all to be over…

Can you spend some of your time staying with a friend/family? That's what I'm doing (and have been doing since the relationship ended in November). I stay at the shared house for half the week whilst he stays with a friend, then I stay with family whilst he is at the house for the other part of the week.

I'm waiting to get the keys to my new place but it's typically taking a while. It's shit, uncomfortable, sad and frankly quite miserable. But I'm just getting on with it and keeping my eye on the light at the end of the tunnel.

I spend some evenings looking up nice new furniture for my new place - perhaps you could do a bit of planning around how you want your home to look once he's left? It's been nice looking up new bedding, towels etc.
