Will he still get a preview?

I was upset earlier after finding something out. So I messaged my boyfriend to discuss it. He has only fallen asleep. So I've unsent the message as I didn't want him waking up in the night to it.

Will he still get a preview on the notification bar on his main phone? I've sent him a goodnight message and a few hearts to bump the screen up.

Any idea?

If he gets a preview I think it would just be 'XB unsent a message'. If his notifications are grouped he'll only see the most recent one on his Home Screen then 'plus 2 other messages'. At least that's how it works for me!

Ahh I hope so. The messages didn't deliver. They stayed at sent. So I'm hoping he didn't have chance to even pull it down. I'll find out soon.

How do you know he was asleep?
I’m not sure about Facebook but WhatsApp would only give a preview on the phone lock screen until the message was deleted, on my phone at least. I know this as a guy I have been messaging has started to send and unsend me messages on WhatsApp and it’s annoying me so I’ve stopped messaging him 😄

Mine doesn't preview. Mine doesn't even say who it's from. It just says messenger and underneath notification. I have to open it to see who it's from. If you sent it to me it would not show when I unlocked my phone if you had deleted it.

I have an iPhone if that helps.
