What's the main differences?

Class sizes will be the main one, and then facilities, but these will vary according to the prep and the state primary - eg a country primary may have a ton more outside space than a city prep

And most likely extra-curricular stuff included in the fees at a prep. Generally a broader access to extra-curricular than you might get at a primary, although there will often be extras in primaries you can pay for. I've done both, but in the countryside so my knowledge is limited to this kind of setting!

"Relationships"? You might want to move this to Education.

All will follow Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Private may have smaller class sizes, better staff ratios and access to specific facilities and staff like sports, dance, language teaching, music although some states will have this too. Private can pick and choose pupils.
