One TV ...

Hi, just a general wondering.... we have 1 TV in the lounge and 1 TV in our bedroom ( very new to having a TV in our bedroom but here's why) do you and your other half watch TV together? Or if u did have 1 TV in the house and your other half wanted the TV what do you do or where do u go in your house? Me and my partner don't watch much TV together , every night we have to 'book' the TV between us or who's going to bed early so we can sit the the right room on a evening 🤣 just a general wondering if your other half was watching the TV in the evening what do you do with yourself? X

We only have one telly. We did have a second small one in the dining room but it hardly got used. Sometimes I watch television while DH does his hobbies on a computer. We almost always watch together though. I might retire to listen to a podcast or read in bed if I decide it’s not a programme for me.

Il just sit there and read or have a bath, do some washing or walk the dogs or or read mumsnet🤣

We have one TV, my husband doesn’t really watch TV, he just watches football, so generally I just put on what I’m watching unless one of us want to game.

I usually go in another room and look at stuff on my phone. Did tonight

Main TV in living room, TV in bedroom never gets used these days, one in each of DC's rooms.

DH is watching Netflix as we speak, while I'm MNing on my phone. Both in living room, he's using headphones for the TV so it's nice & quiet (other than DH laughing at the comedy that's obviously tickling him!)

There are certain things we like to watch together which we usually do on catch up when it's convenient.

I have the living room tv, or watch my iPad in bed or the bath.

DH watched tv or his tablet in the office/spare room or kitchen if he’s not watching tv with me.

We have the living room TV where we watch films together on the weekends. During the week after work, I stay in the living room to watch my programmes and my fiance goes into the study to use the other TV for gaming! We have a TV in our bedroom but only use that on weekend mornings for breakfast TV.

I love watching TV so don't mind us being in separate rooms sometimes .

We have more TVs than people here. DH usually watches football, if there’s something I desperately want to watch I’ll go upstairs or watch on my iPad with headphones. I go to bed earlier than him so I’ll watch upstairs to relax before sleep. I’ll also watch while I’m getting ready for work, unless I’m on an early shift, then it’s radio in the kitchen!

We have just the one TV, but we also have an iPad. If one of us wants to watch something else we’ll either put headphones in with the iPad or watch it in bed.

Used to have a TV in the bedroom but not for years and prefer it that way.

We have one TV. We'll both watch things we aren't that interested in to spend time together. (Although probably mooching on our phones at the same time!)

We have a lot of tech but we only have one tv. We tend to choose a series to watch together. When we are not watching whatever the current show is, dh likes to paint while im watching something, currently Screw, or he watches films when Im doing other things.

Two lounges and two TVs. Rarely watch together as he watches repair programmes 🙄

Occasionally we will watch something together. A drama serial or science programme.
