I know this is super petty-
Dh threw a cushion at dd face- she wasn’t best impressed.

He took her bowl off her to take out ceral as she had finished, i said to her throw it back, so she did and the bowl went flying the cushion that is,
Milk all over the floor.
No he saying im not cleaning that, you come on clean it up.
Let see how long its there grrr

How old is DD?

FionnulaTheCooler · 08/01/2022 19:41

You told her to throw the cushion at him knowing he was carrying the bowl though, that was pretty daft.

Longhotbath1 · 08/01/2022 19:43

This.
MrsTerryPratchett · 08/01/2022 19:46

Are you all 5?

HNY2022mam · 08/01/2022 19:51

Why is your DH throwing a cushion into a small child’s face?

ThisIsStartingToBoreMe · 08/01/2022 19:51

Grow up and raise your kid not to throw things at people carrying bowls of milk.

Ginger1982 · 08/01/2022 19:59

You all sound really juvenile.

VanLife · 08/01/2022 20:01

😂😂

Thinkbiglittleone · 08/01/2022 20:07

You and your child should clean it up.
Explain that you should help, as you were wrong to egg someone on to do something stupid to someone else.
Explain she should help clean it up, as she needs to learn not to do stupid things other tell her to do. Be her own person and tell you no, she not throwing stuff at her dad while he's carrying things.

Shyla867 · 08/01/2022 20:08

You're all reception age it seems. Grow up.

This is one of those stories that will be up there with the greats...Romeo&Juliet, Pride and Prejudice...

Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Name99 · 08/01/2022 20:49

Enjoy the smell of rancid milk

BurntO · 08/01/2022 21:00

God just clean it up. You told your child to throw something at someone carrying a bowl of milk, she needs to know that’s not going to end well, as do you, apparently.

Milomonster · 08/01/2022 22:22

Wow. What are you both teaching her?

Elieza · 08/01/2022 22:58

So the milks still there?!

Sigh.

Go and get a cloth now and sort it or it will stink like sick by tomorrow.

Throwing cushions is as bad as throwing a ball indoors. Not allowed.

ThisIsStartingToBoreMe · 08/01/2022 22:58

I don't think the OP will come back -didn't get the response she was hoping for that's for sure

Elieza · 08/01/2022 23:02

Hopefully she has gone to clean the mess and have words with those responsible before the house reeks of vomit.

I wouldn’t normally cleanup someone else’s mess but with milk I would if needs must!

Tangelablue · 09/01/2022 06:59

Does your DH often throw things at his daughter?

KiloWhat · 09/01/2022 08:02

Stop throwing things at each other

Longhotbath1 · 09/01/2022 08:28

No he ended up cleaning it
I did mop properly once everyone went up
I was just annoyed about him throwing a cushion at her face when we were sitting relaxed watching videos as was my daughter she was upset so i told her to do it back rather than let him get away with it -

KiloWhat · 09/01/2022 08:29

Seriously stop throwing stuff at each other

3mealsaday · 09/01/2022 08:42

I'm assuming he threw it as a joke rather than because he often throws things at her?

You should tell your DH that play-fighting always ends in tears (or, in this case, sulks). As such, you have zero sympathy for him as the instigator.

BananaBlue · 09/01/2022 08:46

I’m shocked at a grown man throwing anything at a 5 year olds face. Is he her dad?

Do you have other concerns or is this a one off incident?
