This just happened to me - not on a trad OLD site. That’s weird isn’t it?

I think, looking back, it might be because he’s not so tall. But the weight 🤷🏻‍♀️

It would be a no from me. Even DH doesn't know my weight.

But as pp have said, weight is not a good indicator of mass and therefore any man who is so stupid to not understand this would be eliminated before he even started.

I've seen men specify really random weight range requirements on their dating profiles, e.g. between 7stone 11 and 10 stone 9 ... wonder if it's on there as some sort of a 'joke'?

I've been married a long time but I can't see a problem with it . I know so many women on fb who do head shots and they are size 26 but have thin faces . I wouldn't want to date someone really overweight and I think it's fine to ask . I wouldn't be offended . I am 5 foot so it would probably put lots of men off that 🤷‍♀️

He's risking putting off women that meet his criteria (whatever that may be!)
E.g. im 5'6 and s is 8-10. No idea if that's his particular type but if it was and I met his criteria, I'd block him anyway for being such a prick! He's probably putting off potentially good matches by even asking!

I usually put a full length photo of me and also state my height and dress size. I also add that I have an 11 year old, because I'm 49 and many men my age have children who are grown up. It saves wasting people's time.

Do you find many men posting they pant and shirt sizes Why are womens bodies subject to a level of scrutiny that mens simply are not

I wasn't sure if he was wanting to make me a delightful hat or making sure the coffin he must be hiding in his loft was big enough. I unmatched either way, he definitely wasn't pretty enough to risk it.

Women ask for height so I think it's okay for men to ask about weight. Some men like slim women and some have a preference for bigger women.

Lots of them will say “looking for a slim attractive lady” or some such bollocks. Clearly have no clue about women as even the slim attractive ones don’t always consider themselves such!

The issue being here also thag if one meets a person and is happy with their height whether male or female thqg is unchanging
However , a man can ask a woman’s weight and say go himself ‘ yes she’s within my range of what I’m attracted to , get involved married whatever then things can change at any time . Pregnancy menopause heck just aging , nothings static
I bag is he gonna do , have her sign a contract promising to never gain weight cause he will no longer be attracted to her
Men ( or women ) with strict weight criteria are better off saying that’s how they are and then people can decide if they want to get involved with someone who feels that way
