Separating, how to support dc

After being in denial about how horrible our relationship has become we've finally decided to separate. I'm worried about my DC , DD 15 and DS 12. It's not ideal given their ages, we should have done it when younger but I kept (delusionally) thinking we may be able to sort it. Anyway the pandemic and being stuck at home has finally killed it. DS is in year 7 and I'm worried about how it will affect him and his confidence, he's a pretty shy, sensitive, introverted child anyway. I think DD may be ok, she wants us to split due to all the horrible arguments. I'm just worried poor ds will be so devastated he'll never recover.
Advice?
