I have a friend who cuts all her friends off as soon as she gets into a relationship. She only makes contact once she is single again as she hates being alone. I do make contact when she has a partner but you can tell she finds it a hindrance. She does this to all of our friends not just me. I can’t understand how being dependent on one man alone is healthy. All she ever talked about when she was single was her ex, even talked about him still 5 years later and how she must meet someone to get married and have a family with. We all miss her friendship but it’s like she does not care. I really hope when I meet someone the man does not expect me to cut my friends off.
