I am watching whatever I want, eating junk & enjoying my Baileys.
Will get my kids back tomorrow night. We are having Christmas day on Boxing day.

Waitrose ready meal and too much wine - might put a film on later. Its my first year doing this... not as bad at I thought it would be

24undecided I was dreading it the first year, but I think it's the build up rather than the day.

I've been adding Bailey's to all my coffees, just drunk a litre of mulled cider and catching up on grown up TV series.

Kids come back boxing day, tomorrow I'll be having a lay in, doing the remaining housework and enjoying the peace and quiet. Bliss!

Also drinking baileys here and watching Succession.

Still in the same house as stbxh for another couple of weeks so very relieved that he is away with the kids to the stbxinlaws.

Music has been on loud, there has been dancing in the kitchen whilst doing the washing up and I am now settled in front of the TV with a glass of wine.

Enjoying the peace and quiet, looking forward to seeing the kids tomorrow

My first year too. I'm in Aus so a day ahead, had a lovely Xmas eve with Mexican and margaritas and had a sleep in today. Will get the kids back after lunch.

Found a few indulgent treats at end-of-day markdown, had a scallop-y thing and caeser salad for dinner, with plenty of Chardonnay.

Now I'm watching West Wing: Noel.

The year I didn’t have my babies I took an early morning fight to Amsterdam with boyfriend of the time, ice skating, Christmas markets etc.
Spent Christmas Day mostly in bed watching Christmas movies and eating kebabs from a take away.
Sales shopping and really nice hotel meal on Boxing Day.

I've done my nails and am watching Christmas movies in my pj's. Kids back boxing day. I'd have a drink but they're in the boot of the car and it's pouring down.

Update: just watched Die Hard.
